Snarl

 

Snarl is a generative system that simulates an articulated arm fixed at one end and drawing a line at the other. Each joint moves independently according to sinusoidal functions in three dimensions. Harmonic relationships produce repeating structures, slight detunings generate interference patterns, and non-harmonic relationships create increasingly irregular forms, building complex trajectories from interacting oscillations.
