Trichord 0 11 16
The images in Trichord arise from the frequency relationships within a three-note chord. Those relationships determine the motion of a triangle through virtual space, producing forms whose complexity emerges from simple harmonic ratios. Each print presents a different view of the same object, inviting the eye to discover new structures through rotation rather than transformation. The series suggests that complexity may arise not only from changing the world, but from changing the way we encounter it.
